Our operational history began in 1982, when our current CEO Charles Helm and his brother opened the Best Western Trail Dust Inn in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Our familys involvement in hospitality predates our official founding, as Charless father Walter Punk Helm established the Paradise Inn roadside motel two decades earlier. Over more than 40 years of industry experience, we have built, developed, and assumed management of premium name-brand hotel properties across Texas.
