Hotel Macomber is a family-run boutique hotel rooted in Cape May's rich history. Established at the turn of the 20th century, we are the last Historic Landmark building erected in Cape May and the largest frame structure of our era east of the Mississippi River. Our freshly renovated grand shingle-style mansion offers guests a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort, with 42 beautifully appointed rooms nearly all featuring ocean views. Positioned just steps from the beach and across from Convention Hall, we provide an ideal base for exploring Cape May's Victorian architecture, gourmet dining, and vibrant local attractions. Our property includes the award-winning Union Park Dining Room, recognized as Best of the Best, Most Romantic, and Best Kept Secret in Cape May, as well as a breakfast shop (seasonal), a clothing boutique, and bike rentals.

The hotel's design encourages relaxation, with rockers on oceanfront verandas, a solarium overlooking Beach Avenue, and a cozy living room space. We are committed to providing an accessible experience despite our historic nature, noting that while we lack an elevator, our staff works to accommodate guests with specific needs. Our staff maintains office hours from 9 AM to 9 PM to address guest needs promptly and professionally.
