Each of our offerings affords stunning Kodiak ocean views, where you can watch passing boats, ferries, eagles, and sometimes sealions and orca whales. Channel View offers a range of subtle delights: historic Kodiak photos, fossils collected from the island and arranged in a rainy rock garden, and original artwork from travels abroad. Room options include a single, a queen, a studio and a one bedroom apartment.
As the name implies, there are views of the channel through fir trees and from a spacious deck. Host Mary is a fifth-generation islander, and serves full gourmet breakfasts. A Channel View Bed and Breakfast Owned and operated by a fifth-generation Kodiak Alaskan, this emerald-isle favorite has sea views and is conveniently located less than 1 mile from downtown Kodiak.
Pros: channel views; very hospitable owners. Cons: slightly inconvenient if you don't have a car and aren't keen on a 10 minute walk into town. TripAdvisor: "an exquisite example of pure Alaskan hospitality, " exceptionally kind and thoughtful hosts, " beautiful place and excellent views."

We stayed at Channel View B&B for two nights in the studio suite and it was an awesome experience.
Mary and Ron were exceptional hosts from the gourmet breakfast.
Our B & B hosts were so gracious to share with us their beautiful home overlooking the ocean.
We especially liked learning from them about the island and it is truly a special place!
She had binders full of brochures and articles that were in our room so we could read at our leisure about the area.
It is very private and quiet.
Mary and Ron are an intelligent and kind couple who generously shared their time and local knowledge in an effort ensure that I had a memorable stay in Kodiak.
